Ulick O'Boyle was the poet, songwriter, creator of the music and founder of the group known as The Settlers.
The group formed in Jindabyne NSW in the early 1960s. The original
group members on the first album were Ulick O'Boyle, Anne Rutherford
and Peter Barry. The members on the second album were Ulick O'Boyle,
Anne Rutherford and Paul Davey. Paul went on to sing and perform on all
the following albums that Ulick produced. Anne sang on four of the
albums.
